    Yes, I am Begging O:

    I am currently volunteering at Pugney's Wildlife Rescue, and right now we're in need of help.

    The owner Jenny is currently considering closing down if we don't start getting more funds in...we are a registered charity run entirely on donations and with rising food and fuel prices things are getting desperate.

    Your spare change could help keep one of baby hedgehog litters fed for a week, or pay for the fuel it takes for us to take animals to the vet. (Or even pay for the jam and bread our Fox cubs like to eat as a treat ^^)
    If you live in the west Yorkshire area and phone the RSPCA about a wild animal in distress, the chances are it will come to us. We never turn ANYTHING away.

    I'm doing anything I can to try and help out, absolutely aanything, so I am going to be taking commissions.

    ANY AND ALL MONEY I MAKE FROM THESE COMMISSIONS WILL GO TOWARDS HELPING THE WILDLIFE RESCUE.

    Unfortunately I am limited to what I can draw, so note me. If you don't want art from me and can spare a bit of money I can give you a paypal address to donate to.

    An Update :D

    A Quick Update On Moi

    I neglected DA....again. My bad. I haven't really had much inclination to do any art, but i do have some outlines I'll probably make available for people to use as I'll never color them myself.

    The good news is, the little sparrow i rescued was released once he was old enough, and I now volunteer at the wildlife rescue we took him to. I'm fund-raising for them too on Sunday which should be fun, I'll make sure to get some photos 8D
    I'll have my new hair by then too...so totally not inspired by kate moennig AT ALL (ILU SHANE <3) It's gonna be aubergine and crazy, whoop. My hair is getting quite long but I've always had long hair and I'm bored of it.

    I am actually single, at least for now. I needed some space to think and get my head sorted out, fingers crossed whatever i choose to do is the right thing :3 Relationships should be banned until you're at least 19 xD I cannae handle it

    I visited my hopefully-soon-to-be-college on Monday. It was amaaaazing, the variety of animals is exciting (I'mma be doing a diploma in animal management). Though some of the other people in the group wouldn't handle any animals, at all...why do an animal course if you're frightened of ALL of them? O.o they wouldn't even hold the freaking hamster xD. I held a hissing cockroach even though i was grossed out at first, they actually feel quite soft and leathery xD Not only cockroaches of course but there were all sorts of things (sugargliders are the cutest things ever).

    In My next Journal....


    I would like to feature some artwork depicting angels.

    Yup, Angels of any type. People with wings and/or halos, or somebody you know or who you admire that is like an angel to you...or someTHING, perhaps there is a particular animal or a pet that is your angel. It can be your own artwork, or you can nominate somebody else's work to be featured :3

    I want to see what you all interpret angels as...what comes into your mind when you hear that word?

    Think about this one guys...I'm looking forward to seeing your responses. Angels give me inspiration to get on with life, and I need some inspiration right now <3

    I'm gonna limit it to 5 features per recommendation...I will feature EVERYTHING in my next journal ^.^ I wanna see art and pieces of writing if possible, and I'll stop accepting recommendations...whenever I feel like it xD

    I LYKE RAINBOWZ.
    That's why I made a mostly grey scale CSS. But it has Amaris and Bane on it, so that automatically makes it awesome. I hope I haven't screwed this up xD

    Sorry for no updates yesterday >.>
    When we weighed him yesterday he'd put on another 2.5grams, not as much as before but its still a good thing ^^ As you can probably tell from the photos I got this morning, his eyes are bigger, he's got more feathering, and hes just grown a little in general :3 Thank you to everyone who is showing concern :heart:

    Yesterday he weighed only 10 grams, but overnight hes gone to 15 :3 And hes also got more feathering...go Jack! \o/

    My dad found him on his back in a drain yesterday afternoon and brought him inside. Usually baby birds are dead when they fall out of the nest, so we were amazed to find this little guy alive and well, and surprisingly with no injuries, considering he fell from our roof xD

    The fact is, he would have died if we'd have left him, either from the cold or by the bazillion cats near our house. So he's with us now, being hand reared.

    He's only a nestling, so I'm guessing hes about a week old give or take. For the first day we just gave him sugar dissolved in warm water, but now hes onto cat kibble soaked in hot water, mashed together with egg yolk xD And he's kept nice and warm :3

    I'm so surprised he survived the night, I only got 2 hours sleep because i woke up and couldn't drift off again *shrugs* Ah well, at least hes alright. But i know for a while I'm going to be expecting to find a dead bird on a morning ): All i can do is try right?

    Anyone got any tips on looking after orphaned birds? x:
